About

our vision

To build a family of devoted followers of Christ that worship God, show Christ's hope and love, as we minister to each other’s needs.

WORSHIP

Worship at VCC is  Sharing Christ’s Love – Worship begins at 10am each Sunday morning with praise and worship, singing and prayer. We have a lesson from Scripture or based on Scriptural teaching by the Pastor or one of the elders. Communion, the Lord’s Supper, is a weekly celebration of the loving sacrifice and the victory in resurrection by our Lord, Jesus.  We finish up by celebrating victories, announcements and prayer. Come join us for personal and intimate worship and communion this Sunday.

MINISTRY

Village Christian Church is Sharing Christ’s Love in a Big Way.  We are a small church with many ministries.  You might ask, “How is it possible for a small church to have 20 different ministries with most of them led by 2 people?”  Here is the scoop, we are “All in for Jesus”!  That is how it works so well.  There is a place for everyone at VCC. We have an Emergency Medical Response Team; Security Team; Fellowship Team; Website & Social Media Team; Publications & Marketing Team; Prayer Team; Local Outreach & Service Team; Missions Team; Men’s Ministry; Women’s Ministry and a Christian Education Team.  If you don’t see what you would like to do, talk to us; maybe you would rather be on the Greeter Team or the Communion Team, the Praise & Worship Team, the Encouragement Team or the Preaching and Teaching Team.  There is more, but come find your place at Village Christian Church where we are Sharing Christ’s Love.

LOVE

Village Christian Church is Sharing Christ’s Love in many different ways.  Let me tell you very briefly about just a very few. One night a month the Outreach and Service Team takes a crew of about 6 – 10 people to the Good Samaritian Men’s Refuge and provides a delicious gigantic dinner to the men staying in the Refuge.  We also provide a Bible Study of about 15 minutes.  There are no qualifications required to participate, except you must have a heart that wants to love on a small group of men who have failed many times in their lives and need someone to be with them.  We try to spend a few minutes sitting among the men and visiting before we pack up and leave around 7:30pm.

HOPE

Our Care & Compassion Teams at Village Christian Church – Sharing Christ’s Love through Caring.

Everyone at sometime has struggles; isn’t that the understatement of the year.  We sometimes don’t want to acknowledge that we know they will be coming, but it sure is nice to have the Village Christian Church Care & Compassion Encouragement Team, Benevolence Team & the Home & Hospital Visitation Teams when those times arrive.  We have expanded the scope of these teams in the Springs of 2023 to provide better care and to provide more opportunities for members to serve God and people of the church.  Let us know if you need services or if you are interested in serving on one of these teams.

what we believe

We Believe the Grace of God saves Humanity from its sinful condition through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. Throughout eternity, we will either exist separated from God in Hell due to our sinful rebellion, or in union with God in Heaven due to the forgiveness and salvation that accompany faith in Jesus Christ.

We Believe Believers mark their faith in Jesus Christ by being Baptized (Immersion) in water as taught and exemplified in the Bible.

We believe the Church should be Non-Denominational, and that believers should partake of the Lord’s Supper when we assemble as a local church body each Sunday.
